Chris spent the best part of 15 years in visual merchandising, working for big-name brands like John Lewis, House of Fraser, H&M and M&S.
He then swapped fitting out shop windows to managing a team here at Connect Assist. As team leader, Chris’s role is to make sure we deliver the best possible experience and service to every single Sign Assist user. He works alongside contract managers to grow this area of our business and spread the word among other organisations.
Chris has only been with us for a short time but is looking forward to playing a pivotal role in developing Sign Assist with other members of our team.
Each day brings a new challenge but this is something Chris thrives on. He’s excited to be part of our company’s culture and has loved how friendly and approachable his colleagues have been so far. He’s been impressed by his peers’ knowledge of Deaf awareness, and is looking forward to educating everyone further.
With a background in visual merchandising, it’s perhaps no surprise that Chris loves to indulge in a spot of retail therapy – his favourite store being Zara. When he’s not shopping, you’ll catch him cheering our players on during Six Nations, enjoying a meal at a classy restaurant, or baking something magnificent to wow his friends. Or, plonked on the sofa binging one of the Real Housewives of… series!
